The website includes links to self-training manuals on the Alcohol, Smoking, and Substance Involvement Screening Test (ASSIST) and ASSIST-linked brief intervention. The curriculum includes all required forms for administration of the ASSIST, 2 written role plays for adult patients, and video demonstrations of the screening and brief intervention using the ASSIST. The target audience for this curriculum is primary healthcare workers, but may be useful for hospital physicians and nurses, midwives and obstetricians, social workers, prison workers and community correction workers. This training curriculum has online and print-based materials that can be used for self-study and group instruction.
